Celligenics Publishes Latest Scientific Paper On Springer Nature

Celligenics is proud to announce the publication of our latest scientific breakthrough:

"Development and functional testing of a novel in vitro delayed scratch closure assay" in the Springer Nature journal, Histochemistry and Cell Biology.

This groundbreaking assay mimics key features of chronic wounds in an artificial lab setting. Chronic wounds, especially prevalent in diabetic patients, pose significant challenges due to delayed healing processes influenced by persistent physical trauma and pro-inflammatory signals.

The innovative assay recreates this complex microenvironment in an easily accessible cell culture setting, offering a valuable tool for researchers in academia and industry exploring novel therapeutics for chronic wound management.

The assay demonstrated remarkable responsiveness to Celligenics' proprietary healing secretome derived from human Wharton's jelly mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). In fact, our data show that the Celligenics secretome product facilitated complete closure of the simulated chronic wounds in this model.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we delve deeper using more natural models, promising even more exciting results on the horizon.
